Arpan Sinha, MD

Dr. Sinha is studying the role of Chd1 in hematopoiesis and its involvement in myelodysplasia and leukemogenesis in zebrafish. Her clinical research focuses on improving outcomes for children with sickle cell disease (SCD) with eneuresis. Dr. Sinha is also studying the effects of masked hypertension in children and adolescents with sickle cell disease.

Leanne Ostrodka, MD

Dr. Ostrodka is studying the AML1-ETO fusion protein and its role in leukemogenesis in conjunction with the PI3K pathway in a mouse model of leukemia. Her translational research includes an assessment of the cytotoxocity of PI3K inhibitors in myeloid leukemia cells.

Scott Moerdler, MD

Dr. Moerdler has a clinical research interest in improving outcomes for patients with solid tumors. In addition, Dr. Moerdler is studying novel teaching strategies to improve the education of medical students and house-staff. Scott will be meeting with laboratory mentors in the upcoming months to decide the focus of his senior fellow research.
