Montefiore Medical Center is a “No Hitting Zone” facility that promotes positive parenting and reduces the frequency of aggressive behavior.
The “No Hitting Zone” program, now in more than 30 children’s hospitals nationwide, is a new and innovative anti-violence initiative designed to prevent child abuse and family violence and encourage healthy parenting and positive discipline practices.
