Adolescent Information Seminars 2018
Choosing weight reduction surgery is a major life-altering decision that requires initiative and commitment. Weight reduction surgery may be the right choice for some younger patients. Our program is open to adolescents ages 16-21 who are interested in exploring this option. Our comprehensive information seminars are the first step in this process; they give patients and their families an opportunity to find out if surgery is the right choice for them. The basic facts on bariatric surgery are presented by our medical staff. The program concludes with a question-and-answer session.
