The Adolescent AIDS Program (AAP) Clinic provides medical and supportive care for all youth between the ages of 13 and 24, including gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or questioning youth. Our services include:
HIV Counseling and Testing
- Low cost or free
- Low-cost STI screening and treatment
- Oral fluid testing available (no needles!)
- Personalized plans to "stay safe"
- Youth-friendly and confidential
Coordinated Healthcare
- Comprehensive healthcare, including for mental health
- New Umbrella Program provides healthcare and mental health care (including hormones) for transgender youth
- New Umbrella Program provides health and mental health screening and referrals for LGBTQ youth
- Services for HIV-positive youth ages 13–24
Comprehensive Medical Care for HIV+ Youth
- Coordinated prenatal care
- Full checkups and lab tests
- Gynecological exams/birth control
- HIV care and medicines as needed
- HIV clinical trials for youth
- Inpatient hospital care
- Sexually transmitted disease (STD) care
Comprehensive Mental Health Care
- Individual, family and couples therapy
- Psychiatric assessment and treatment
- Support groups and recreational events
